The Lakes Free Range Egg Co Ltd leads the industry in its approach to egg supply. We produce and pack only free range and organic free range eggs, from our family owned and run company deep in the heart of Cumbria and The English Lake District.

This is done from facilities that are some of the most modern in the country, yet retain the close-knit local family connections that pervade The Company. Our quality is guaranteed by use of standards higher than codes of practice require, such as Freedom Foods, British Egg Industry Council and British Retail Council. We supply some of the most demanding retail and food service customers in the country.

Traceability

We were the first in the country to guarantee farm of origin, codes printed on our eggs and we still lead the field. Whilst others may tell you the origin of specialist or local eggs and forget others, we are the first and only company in the country to guarantee you to “Trace your Egg” to the farm of origin for all the eggs we produce and pack whatever the origin. We are proud of our product and all our farmer suppliers.
